What is an Eldership?
And eldership is a group of men (each called an Elder) from within the congregation who are chosen to lead the affairs of the church. They are chosen according to the criteria laid out in the Bible in the books of 1 Timothy and Titus. They are appointed and approved by the congregation and serve as the decision making body.
